David P. Lowe, 81, of Goffstown and formerly of Berlin, passed away Wednesday morning April 1, 2015 at the Hillsboro County Nursing Home in Goffstown. Mr. Lowe was born in Randolph, NH on February 15, 1934 a son of Glenn and Gladys (Shaw) Lowe. He lived most of his life in the Berlin area until moving to Goffstown 12 years ago. David was a graduate of Gorham High School and was a police officer for the City of Berlin. He was a member of the Narcotics Enforcement Officers Association, State of NH Police Standards and Training Council, F.B.I Firearms School, the U.S. Dept. of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration and the National College of District Attorney’s.
Family members include his wife Florence A. (Hansen) Lowe of Goffstown, NH; 3 sons Mark Eastman of Berlin, NH, Michael Eastman of Berlin, NH and Martin Lowe of Newmarket, NH; step-daughter Sherry (Cole) Dumais of Bow, NH; step-son Michael Cole of Berlin, NH; 3 brothers Charles Lowe of Randolph, NH, Lawrence Lowe of Gorham, NH and Vernon Lowe of Minnesota and a sister Joyce Chaffee of Ohio, 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and several siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Monday April 6, 2015 at 10 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH 03570. Interment will follow in New City Cemetery, Berlin. There will be no calling hours.
