Dorothy Little Craig
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, March 30, 2015, Mrs. Dorothy Whaley Little Craig, 89, loving wife to Richard Z. Craig, Sr. She was predeceased by her first husband, Neal H. Little, Sr. and her parents Carlos and Jessie Whaley.
Mrs. Craig was born in Augusta and graduated from Tubman High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Lucy Wright Parker Circle and a beloved member of the “Knit Wits” Prayer Group. She worked in the past with National Exchange Bank, Southeastern Equipment and Georgia Railroad Bank. She loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother and was an avid Bible reader.
Family members include her children: Neal Little (Jan), Susan Little Wilson (Joey), Terry Little (Jeannie), Gary Little (Ramona), David Little (Kim), and Alan Little (Kathy); stepchildren: Susan Craig, Richard Craig, Jr. (Maureen), Daniel Craig (Crystal), Catherine Folger (Billy), and Roland Craig (Christel); grandchildren: Amy (Mark), Seth (Emily), Rachel (Dennis), Andrew (Brooke), Abigail, Betsy, Brittany (Chip), Jordan, Zack (Katelyn), Lacy, Emily, Addie Lee, Hannah, Bryce, and Olivia; great-grandchildren: Lydia, Thad, Gus, Emma, Henry, Caleb, Lucy, Joshua, Anthony, Mackenzie, and Lettie Anne; 8 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Louise Manly, Elise Little, Mabel Whaley
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Rev. David Little and Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the “Knit Wit” Prayer Group.
