Obituary

LACONIA – Leonard V. Muller, 90, of 15 Dartmouth Street, died Saturday, March 28, 2015 in his home.

He was born on May 25, 1924 in Bayonne, NJ, the son of the late Valentine and Florence (Wrigley) Muller. Leonard served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and was a Staten Island United States Power Squadron Rating Advanced Pilot. He worked as a butcher for over 40 years, eight of which were at the IGA in Laconia and was the owner and operator of L & B Carpet Cleaning for several years.

He is survived by his late wife’s son, Glenn Richardson and his wife Sue of Laconia and Glenn’s daughter Kelly of California and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Betty J. (Clairmont) Muller and his two sisters.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Monday, April 6, 2015 at St. Andre Bessette Parish - St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Burial will follow in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield St., Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO BOX 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
