Edwin L. "Red" Doyle
Retired Senior V.P. of Furman Lumber, Inc

ANDOVER: Edwin L. "Red" Doyle, age 81, a former longtime resident of Andover, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Born in Waltham on November 5, 1933, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Hynes) Doyle.
Mr. Doyle was raised in Watertown, attended Watertown schools and graduated from St. Patrick's High School . Following high school, he attended Dunstan's University in PEI, Canada.
Prior to his retirement, he served as the Senior Vice President and was a member of the Board of Directors of the former Furman Lumber Company for over 45 years, now known as Boise-Cascade.
He enjoyed playing golf, and was a member of the Sliver Club.
He was the husband of Martha Lynch Doyle for over 55 years.
Mr. Doyle is survived by five children, Kathleen M. Bryson and her husband James of Haverhill, Edward J. Doyle of Cape Cod, Tammy T. Paquette and her husband Paul of Naples, FL David C. Doyle of Newburyport, and Patricia L. Sullivan and her husband Gregory of Winthrop; siblings, Kenneth Doyle and Eleanor Gatti both of Waltham; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Doyle was the father of the late Susan L. Doyle and brother of the late Frances Tamez and James Doyle.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 2, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, www.michaeljfox.org, or mailed to P.O.
