Luisa Barbosa Rodrigues (82) of Brockton died March 29th in her home under hospice care and surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Candido Rodrigues.
Luisa was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cape Verde daughter of the late Joaquin Santos and Josefa (Barbosa) Rodrigues and resided in Brockton since 1988. She was a communicant of St Edith Stein Church and loved to sew, crochet and also work in her garden.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her 4 daughters Gabriela Barbosa of Holland, Candida Andrade and Nelsa Rodrigues both of Brockton, Augusta Andrade of Cape Verde, 5 sons Marcos Rodrigues of Randolph, Rogerio, Candido and Luis Rodrigues all of Fall River, Nilton Rodrigues of Texas, many grand, great grand and 5 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers Joao Rodrigues of Holland, Bejamin Rodrigues of Cape Verde, Jose Santos Rodrigues of Rhode Island and her sister Laurinda Rodrigues of Holland.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday April 2nd at 11 am followed by a Blessing in St Edith Stein Church at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday April 1st from 5-9 pm.
