Parlon, John M., a lifelong resident of West Roxbury, on March 29, 2015. John leaves behind the love and light of his life, his daughter Madison, and her mother Kim; his loving mother, Patricia Parlon; his father, Jack Parlon; his brother James and his wife Jessica; his brother Paul and his wife Georgia; his aunt Jean O’Brien; his uncle John and aunt Stacey O’Brien; 5 nieces and nephews; and his most cherished friend Linda Costa. John was the beloved grandson of Emma “Nan” and John “Papa” O’Brien, who have welcomed him into Heaven. John, known to his family and old friends as Little John, was quick with a joke, told a story in grand fashion, had an opinion on just about everything, and enjoyed a spirited debate. John had great love for and devotion to his close family and friends. John, an organ donor, will continue to touch many lives through those he will help by his gift.
Visiting hours are from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury.
A Funeral Blessing will be held on Holy Thursday, April 2nd, at 11:00 am in St. Theresa of Avila Church in West Roxbury with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
