Alpert, Frances (Baer) 95, of Chelsea & Pompano Beach FL passed into eternal rest on March 29th. Beloved wife of the late Norman Alpert. Born in Chelsea, the daughter of the late Julius & Flora (Hyman) Baer. She was predeceased by her siblings, Louis, Ruth, Henry, Eva, Hannha, Bella and Selwyn. Devoted mother of Allan Alpert & his wife Laraine of Saugus, Loving grandmother of Robert, Justin and Lindsay, Jonathan, Amanda & Stacie Alpert. Adoring great grandmother of Devin James Alpert & Owen Nathaniel Alpert
Graduate of Chelsea High School & Bryant & Stratton Business College. She was a member of Temple Emmanuel in Chelsea and its Sisterhood for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home. She also worked as a volunteer at the former Chelsea Memorial Hospital. Frances enjoyed playing mah jong and cards but mostly loved to golf and did so into her late eighties.
Services from the Torf Funeral Chapel 151 Washington Ave. Chelsea Tuesday at 10 AM followed by burial in Temple Emmanuel Cemetery 16 Buxton Road, Danvers. Memorial observance to be held at the home of Allan & Laraine on Wednesday, April 1 from 2:00 till 7:00 PM.
