James Roland Bogard , 65,passed away March 25,2015 at the Robley Rex Veterans Hospital.
He was a Kosair Shriner and a member of Robinson Masonic Lodge # 266; Navy veteran of Vietnam on the USS Calcaterra Der-390 and a Field Manager for Pitney Bowes and Corporate Mailing Systems and a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levenia and James Bogard; sisters, Mary C. Ashby and Deborah F. Lutterman.
Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Darlene Ann Bogard; daughter, Scarlet Lynn Hill-French; sister, Shirley Ann Taliaferro (James C.); brother, Allan D. Bogard (Vicky); two grandchildren Kayla D. and Jason C. French.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
Visitation will be Monday 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
