Ruth C. (Welch) Belsito, 84, of Worcester died Thursday, March 26th in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family. She leaves a son, Mark Belsito and his wife, Charlene (Emco) Belsito of Charlton; a daughter, Darlene (Belsito) McKay and her husband, Kenneth of Worcester; her twin sister, Rita Sheridan and her husband, Bill of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edward Welch, Earl Welch and Alice Murphy.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of George and Isabel (Bruzas) Welch. Ruth worked for Astra Pharmaceutical for 21 years, retiring in 1996. She was a big fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Ruthie loved spending time with her family and her 5 furry grandchildren; Shadow, Blaze, Lexi, Teenie and Toby.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Pulmonary Care Unit at St. Vincent Hospital for the wonderful care given to Ruthie during her illness.
Calling hours are Tuesday, March 31st from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by a service at 7:00 PM. After cremation burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
