Larry D. Johnson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, March 26, 2015, Mr. Larry D. Johnson, loving husband of 47 years to Dorothy Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Greater Augusta Apostolic Church. He retired as a Maintenance Mechanic from LECO Corporation. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, fishing, hunting, and most of all his family.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters: Jan Love and her husband Sammy of Augusta, Rhonda Johnson of Grovetown; son: Larry Dennis Johnson, Jr. of Augusta; stepdaughter: Brenda Huey of Augusta; stepson: David Hinton of Augusta; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; loving nephew: Sam Morris and his wife Robyn of Evans; and longtime friend: Pete Hicks and his wife Kathy of Evans.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Greater Augusta Apostolic Church with Pastor Terry Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Hicks, Casey Hicks, Larry Breece, Doug Brooks, Brandon Love, Hunter Morris, David Gather, and Michael Flanders.
