Obituary

Helen M. (Wisniewski) Taplin, 93, of Methuen, passed away Sunday March 24th surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was born in Lawrence and was raised and educated graduating from Lawrence High School Class of 1940. Helen worked at Western Electric for 20 years prior to retiring. In her free time Helen enjoyed watching and being an avid Red Sox fan, shopping, going out to eat, organizing dances for the Western Electric Pioneers, being very active with the Shriners Bektash Shrine of Concord NH, cruises and trips with the Shriners, but most of all spending time with her family.

Helen is predeceased by here husband of 65 years Robert B. Taplin Sr. and is survived by her son Robert B. Taplin Jr. and his wife Sheila of Pelham NH, daughters Charlotte R. Huebner of Salem NH, Diane L. Morse of Beverly MA, grandchildren Stephen Huebner and his wife Melissa, Mark Huebner and his wife Tricia, David Huebner, Susan Bellomo, Gerald Morse Jr., Greg Taplin, Kenneth Taplin, great grandchildren Caryl Huebner, Matthew Huebner, Matteo Bellomo, Milana Bellomo, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Helen is also predeceased by sons in law Alvin Huebner and Gerald Morse.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday March 29th from 2-6 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday March 30th at 11 AM at St Monica's Church in Methuen with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen.
