Grovetown – Mrs. Robyn Salvatore Hobbs, 56, beloved wife of Ricky Hobbs, Sr., entered into rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her residence surrounded by those who loved her. Robyn fought a five year battle with a cruel and vicious form of lung cancer, accompanied by COPD.
Robyn will always be remembered as a loving, forgiving mother and grandmother, and for her pride and talent on constant display in her home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Chris Brown officiating.
In addition to her husband, Ricky, Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her children; Heather Hobbs Henton (Brandon), Rachel Hobbs Williams (Jeff), and Ricky “BJ” Hobbs, Jr., her grandchildren; Kolby Ann Hobbs and Karis Rachel Brown, her brothers; Johnnie G. Poole III (Micky), A.R. “Bobby” Poole (Angela) and Jimmy Salvatore. She is also survived by a sister in law; Caroline Poole and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother; Daniel W. “Danny” Poole.
The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service.
