Angela M. Russo, a lifelong resident of Woburn passed away peacefully on March 25, 2015, at the Golden Living Center in Lexington following a lengthy period of declining health. She was 86 years of age. Angela was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Russo Sr. Born in Woburn she was the only child of Carmen and Filomena (Esposito) Onesti.

Angela was a graduate of Woburn High School. Following high school she worked for several years for the Travelers Insurance Company in Boston. Angela also worked for many years in sales with the Brewster Lumber Co. and Woburn Concrete prior to her retirement. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony Church and was active for many years with the Seton Guild. In her leisure time, Angela enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed animals and over the years she cared for many pet cats.

Angela is survived by her devoted sons; Joseph F. Russo Jr. and James M. Russo, both of Woburn.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday, March 31st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours today, Monday, from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
