Alma H. (Theriault) Bazinet

NATICK: Alma H (Theriault) Bazinet died peacefully on March 24, 2015 after a brief illness.
She was born in Haverhill the daughter of the late Arthur J. Theriault and Elizabeth E. (Comeau) Theriault.
She was the wife of the late Maurice L. Bazinet who died in 1991.
Alma is survived by her friend and companion for 10 years, Mario Sannicandro of Framingham. She is also survived by many friends and relatives in the area. She was the sister of the late Zelda Provencher and Blanche M. Wood.
She spent her formative years in Haverhill and for a period of time in Framingham and has been a resident of Natick for over 51 years.
Alma was a graduate of Saint James High School in Haverhill and studied and trained in dancing at the Doris Caffey School in Haverhill. She was an accomplished dancer and dance instructor in the metrowest area since 1978. Alma also taught dancing for years at the Wayland and Holliston Senior Citizens Center as well as dance classes at Saint Zepherins Church in Wayland and at Franklin High School. She loved dancing especially line dancing and ballroom dancing with her late husband Maurice. Alma has been a long time active communicant of Saint Zepherins Church in Wayland and a former member of the Womens Club at the church. In recent years, and up to a few weeks ago, she and her friend Mario continued to be active dancing partners at the Medway Senior Center as well as Friday evenings at Luciano’s in Foxborough. She and Mario would also spend Wednesday evenings with friends at the Italian American Citizens Club in Natick. She also enjoyed her many holiday’s with the Sannicandro family as well as her circle of friends. Alma always enjoyed being around people from all walks of life and lived life to the fullest. She will be kindly remembered by all of those who knew and loved her.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish at Saint Zepherins Church, 99 Main Street (Rte 27), Wayland
Interment will be held at the Bazinet family lot in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Haverhill.
In lieu of flowers, Alma’s wishes were for memorial gifts in her memory to be sent to the Home for Little Wanderers, 10 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
