Gaetana "Tina" Giacalone of Malden, formerly of Medford, died Monday, March 23 in the UMASS Medical Center, Worcester. Born in Boston's North End, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Nancy (Conforto)Giacalone. Tina was employed as an Assembler at Triangle of Malden. Tina loved spending time with her friends and especially her family. She also loved her trips out shopping or just going to Dunkin Donuts.

She was the cherished sister of Frances Favuzza and her husband Frank of Woburn, Pauline Memme and her husband John of Medford, and the loving aunt of Joanne, Suzanne and Frank Favuzza Jr., Sabrina and Nicholas Memme. Tina is also survived by many more family members in the Boston area and Salemi, Sicily.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, March 28 at 8AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Friday from 4-8PM. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
