Bridget Mary Conneely
3/23/2015

Bridget Mary Conneely, age 28, of Winchester, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2015 at Winchester Hospital, lovingly surrounded by her family. Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of Mary T. (Nee) Conneely and the late Dara Conneely.

Bridget was raised and educated in Winchester. Known for her sense of style and love of fashion, Bridget’s family remembered her habit of critiquing everybody’s outfits, sometimes including her own mother’s!

Bridget was kind-hearted and fun, and loved taking care of people. After high school, Ms. Conneely worked as a Medical Assistant for several years. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was proud of being an “auntie”. She was also proud of her Irish heritage and loved traveling to Ireland. A “foodie”, Bridget loved going out to try new restaurants.

Ms. Conneely had a strong sense of Catholic faith. In her final days, that faith sustained her, as she spoke of, and was comforted by “crossing over to the other side”.

In addition to her mother, Bridget is survived by her 5 siblings: James M. Conneely of CO, Una M. Conneely of Winchester, Tracy A. Conneely of Woburn, Eileen M. Ryan and her husband James of Dracut, John Kevin Conneely and his wife Bridget of Woburn. She was also the loving aunt of Taylar, Noelle, Kiera, Sean and Dara, and is further survived by several aunts and uncles.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Wed., March 25th, from 4-8PM and then again on Thurs. at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bridget’s memory may be made to the Winchester Hospital Foundation (for diabetes and kidney research) 611 Main St., Winchester, MA 01890.
