FALL RIVER… Roger P. Fernandes, 59, of Fall River passed away March 17, 2015 at St. Anne’s Hospital.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Manuel and Cecile (Bessette) Fernandes.
Mr. Fernandes worked as a Truck driver prior to his retirement. He enjoyed going for walks, fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include 3 children; Jason Valente, Kim Fernandes & Jonathan Fernandes, all of Fall River, a brother; Michael Fernandes and 5 grandchildren. He was brother of the late Richard Fernandes.
Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 7 PM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 PM, prior to the service. Donations in Roger’s name can be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168.
