Pok Im "Anna" Park, 75, of Methuen, MA passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015, surrounded by her family. Her spirit is carried on by her four children, Chom Suk Kim, Chong Il Park, Unsuk (Helen) Park, and Jeany Lee. She is predeceased by her husband, Chong Bae Park.
She was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the US in 1981 to provide a better life for her children and achieved that through hard work and endless optimism.
Her life was marked by her faithful service to God, devotion to her family and church. She was a member of St. Monica Parish and also The Korean Catholic Church.
Throughout her life, she had a profound effect on the lives of many as she simply and humbly lived out her faith. She was a loving and caring mother and devoted grandmother of ten; Anthony, Phillip, Andrew, Josephine, Jacob, Rachael, Timothy, Nathan, Brandon, Carissa, all of whom will miss her greatly.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen MA. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM on Wednesday, March 25, at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen MA, followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell St., Methuen MA.
