In Taunton, March 19, 2015 Aniceto O. DeCosta, Age 98, passed away in his home following a brief illness. Aniceto was preceded in death by his loving spouses Natalie Decosta and Mabel (Gonsalves) DeCosta. He was born in Brazil, the son of the late Francisco and Josephine DeCosta. Aniceto has resided in Taunton most of his life. He worked as a farmer, raised chickens and enjoyed bull fighting, eating, and reminiscing with friends and family. Aniceto leaves his companion of ten years Filomena DeFreitas of Taunton. His brother Oscar Gouveia of N.C. and his late brother Frank Ormando. He also leaves his niece Ellie Amaral of Rehoboth and nephew Tony Paiva of East Providence. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Monday, March 23rd at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 pm. Burial will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
