Judith Ann Hunter, 72, of Westwood passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015. She was born Feb.13, 1943, in Plainfield, NJ and was the daughter of Ester Gerlufsen Gunst and Henry Gunst of Baltimore, MD.
Judith was a smart, generous person with a passion for politics and justice for all. She was an avid reader and knitter and was known for her wonderful baked goods. Her bread and rolls were even sold at local farms and country stores. She loved all animals, especially cats and took in several without homes.
Education was very important to Judith. She brought her seven children many times to all of the big museums in Boston and spent many days at the local library sitting and reading and encouraging her kids to do the same.
Judith was predeceased by her much loved daughter Laurie Ann Hunter. She leaves her children Jim, Julie, David, Bruce, Jennifer and John and two grandchildren, Maryana and Kayleigh.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21 at Ginley Funeral Home in Walpole at 1 p.m.
