Vietnam Veteran
Oakdale, Minnesota
Survived by caring and loving wife of 28 years, Jennifer; and her son Michael Flodine. Loving parents dad Harold "Norm" & mother Helen. Bob is survived by loving brother Dan (Charmayne) and loving sisters Mary (Mark) Halfen, Eileen (Reggie) Grant, Virginia Kirkland and Karen (Anthony) Aggio. Uncle and Aunts; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also, special friends Barbie, Donna, and Leah. He will be missed by his beloved cat "Lil" Urbster. Great thanks to Dennis and Tracy LaCroix owners of Twin Point Tavern where "smiling" Bob worked for 30 years. He will be fondly remembered by Nicole and her daughter Jada and son Easton, Justin (Amy), Wayne (Nancy) and other coworkers that are his Twin Point family. Also, many good friends/customers and vendors. Grateful thanks to all the nurses and aides who cared for Bob during his stay at The Gathering; and Mary his nurse who helped us so very much on his final day. Thank you Bonnie Radi his RN who gave him such dedicated care and Gayle who helped so much, along with all the staff from Lakeview Hospice. Bob was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Naval League. He was dedicated to our country's veterans. Each Memorial Day Bob proudly placed flags on the graves of brave veterans at many private cemeteries in Washington County. With the same respect he removed the flags to be used again the following year. No services will be held per Bob's wishes. He will be honored with a military burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. This will be private. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Twin Point Tavern. Date to be posted at Twin Point.
