Irene T. D'Apuzzo died on Saturday, March 14. A lifelong resident of Medford, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Jennie (Basile) D'Apuzzo.

Irene was the cherished sister of the late Alfonso M. D'Apuzzo, Marie E. Staffier, and John D'Apuzzo. She was the loving aunt of Irene O'Donnell and her husband Dick of Revere, Denise Maggio and her husband Joe of Conway, NH, Jody Quinn and her husband Ed of Billerica, Michele Conroy and her husband Jay of York, ME, Frank Staffier and his wife Patty of Wilmington. She was the great aunt of Mark Staffier, Justin and Shara Conroy, Megan and Brendan Quinn, Gina Haerer and Leah Tildsley, and is also survived by several loving great great nieces and nephews.

Irene worked as an office manager, and was a member of Catholic Daughters of America. She was a troop leader for Junior Catholic Daughters of America, and belonged to the Emblem Club of Medford. Irene also volunteered at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and the Knitting Connection, both of Medford,

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, March 20, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9-10:30AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
