Edythe “Edy” Daly, 37, of Lakeville, MA, passed suddenly March 10, 2015. Born May 30, 1977 in Woodbury, NJ, she was the cherished daughter of Rosemary (Lendino) and Dale Irving of Plymouth and the late T. Robert Daly. She was the dearly loved sister of Robert Daly and his wife Tracy of New York, Gabriel Daly and his wife Annette of Manomet and Anne-Marie Daly of Connecticut. She was also the treasured girlfriend of Jay Carey of Lakeville. Edy also leaves her Uncles Billy Lendino and his wife Sylvia of New York, the late Michael Lendino and his wife Darlene of Nevada, the late Charles Lendino and his wife Lorraine of Pennsylvania, Jimmy Lendino and his wife Barbara of New Jersey and her Aunt the late Carmella (Lendino) and her husband the late John Piscopo of New Jersey. She was the loving Aunt of Anthony Johnson of Connecticut, Nick and Madison Daly of Manomet, Heather, Kristopher, and Andrew White of New York and Robbie Daly of New York. She also leaves many cousins, numerous friends and her adored cats Martin and Daisy.
Edy worked as a waitress at “The Cabin” in Middleboro and was well known and liked in her community. She loved cooking, baking, karaoke and dancing. She brought sunshine to everyone she met.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929 Washington, DC 20090-6929. A period of quiet reflection will be held at the Second Church of Plymouth in Manomet, MA on Sunday, March 22nd between 1pm and 4pm.
