HARNEY, Josephine Rose (Giuffrida) of Springhouse in Jamaica Plain, formerly of Dorchester, Roslindale and West Roxbury passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015 after 88 wonderful years. Beloved wife of the late Edward C. Harney.
Devoted mother of Mary R. Moniz and her husband Michael of Roslindale and Edward Harney and his wife Renee Sheppard of Roslindale, Cherished sister of Rose Giuffrida of Hingham and the late Steve Giuffrida, Anthony Giuffrida, Ida Scibilia, Connie Foti, Frances Sava, Joseph Giuffrida and Mary Mondi. Sweet and loving Nonna of Sara Smith, Elizabeth Moniz, Samuel Harney and great-grandmother of Julia Rose Smith. Fun-loving Auntie Jessie to many nieces and nephews.
