Obituary


WEBSTER – Howard A. “Howie” Tryba, 71, died Friday, March 13, 2015 in Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Mary C. (Laverdiere) Tryba of Webster; 4 daughters, Kathryn & her husband Thomas Holden of Charlton, Wendy & her husband Steven Leighton of Webster, Laura Tryba of Thompson, CT and Amy Tryba and Jason Senecal of Dudley; 11 grandchildren; Winnie, Kayla, Sarah, Katelyn, Lillian, Carly, Abigail, Brady, Luci, Wyatt, & Max, 2 sisters, Sandra Trocki and Andrea Cox.
He was born in Webster, the son of Andrew and Jessie (Chambers) Tryba and lived in Webster most of his life. He graduated from Bartlett High School, class of 1961.
Mr. Tryba owned and operated HT Machine Co. in Webster for 44 years retiring due to illness. Previously he worked as a machinist with Pratt & Whitney in Hartford CT.
He was a member of Saint Louis Church. He was an avid skier and a member of the Nipmuc Ski Club in Webster.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 7, at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be private. Donations in his name may be made to either Saint Louis School Endowment Fund, 15 Lake Street, Webster, MA 01570 or to Alzheimer's Association, 128 Providence Street, Worcester, MA 01604. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
