Thomas B. Vogel, age 61, a Woburn resident for most of his life, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015, following a lengthy illness. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late William F. and Marjorie L. (Vigus) Vogel.

Tom was a 1971 graduate of Woburn High School. He worked for forty years with Verizon most recently as a central office technician. He was an active parishioner of St. Barbara Church and volunteered as an usher for many years. He was also a member of the Woburn American Legion Post 101 and the Loyal Order of Moose.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted brother, George E. Vogel of Woburn, and devoted sister, Kathleen S. McGowan and her husband Kevin of Mansfield. He was the cherished uncle of Kaitlyn, Patrick and Michael McGowan.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Friday, March 20th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
