Evelyn Limerick Bedgood
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, March 14, 2015, Mrs. Evelyn ReLee Limerick Bedgood, 92, wife of the late Julian Winder Bedgood.
Mrs. Bedgood was a native of Hilltonia, GA and had lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a retired cosmetologist and owner of Beauty Care at St. Joseph Hospital. Mrs. Bedgood was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She was a past worthy matron with Dorothy Walton #490 Order of Eastern Star.
Family members include son: Thomas W. Bedgood and his wife Gaylene of Pittsboro, NC; grandson: 1st Lt. Michael Ryan Bedgood and wife Sara Beth of Benson, NC; nephews: Lester Springer of Atlanta, GA and William Springer of Athens, GA.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Eastern Star Dorothy Walton #490.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
