Our beautiful and courageous mother; Phyllis J. McLeod “Tiny”, lost her battle with lung cancer on March 14, 2015. She was surrounded by those who loved her most and passed peacefully.
Tiny was born in Boston, MA on August 19, 1951. She dedicated herself to helping others as a CNA for over 18 years. Tiny enjoyed gardening, cooking, home decorating and dancing. Playing outdoors with her grandchildren also brought her enormous enjoyment. She was very devoted to keeping family reunions at Watson Pond. We all cherished her wonderful sense of humor, strength and generous spirit.
She outlived her parents; Phillip Nicholas Barros of Bridgeport, CT, Leo Paulino and Jean Barros of Dighton, MA. She is the widow of Carlos Anthony McLeod and is survived by her 3 children; Sherry Heggs, Robert Heggs and Serina Sherman. She also leaves behind grandchildren; Tori Heggs, Tyren Heggs, Trevor Heggs, Bretton Heggs, Briana Heggs and Nicholas Metzgar and her 3 great grandchildren. She is one of 16 Children; having 8 brothers and 7 sisters. Tiny also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on March 21, 2015 from 12-4pm at the VFW Hall on Ingell Street in Taunton.
