Anita J. Laramee 89, of 1 Main St. died peacefully on Wednesday at West Shore Health Center in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Marcel Laramee. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Aurea (Martin) Lussier. Anita worked for the Foxboro Co. for ten years before retiring twenty seven years ago. She volunteered for the RI Blood Center and Landmark Medical Center. In her spare time Anita enjoyed doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by a son Donald Laramee of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, a daughter, Diane Norcross and her husband Robert of Warwick, a sister Theresa Daly of Woonsocket, two grandchildren, Shannon Nichols and Stacey Schmidt both of Warwick, and four great grandchildren, Jacoby, Natalie, Owen and Cory.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
