Holly C. (Lasewicz) Grano, a 10 year resident of Haverhill and former 10 year resident of Chelsea and 15 year resident of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at The Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading following an extended illness. She was 71 years old.
Holly was born on December 25, 1943 in Bristol, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Steven E. Lasewicz and Helen (Baldygar) Lasewicz. She grew up in Bristol, Connecticut where she was educated and graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 1959. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bay Path Community College in Boston in 1966. Holly worked several years ago for Harvard University and Honeywell Corporation as a secretary before becoming Office Manager for Iris Graphics in Stoneham. Holly loved to play the piano, dance and enjoyed spending time on the beach.
Holly is the devoted mother of Kimberly Smith and her husband Bill of Wakefield and Jill Grano of Billerica. She is the loving grandmother to Katlynn, Matthew and Ryan Smith all of Wakefield. She is the beloved sister of Lois Hochstatter and her husband Henry of Overland, Kansas and Steven E. Lasewicz Jr. and his wife Donna of Bristol, Connecticut. She is also the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Holly's Funeral Mass on Saturday, APRIL 25, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Eulalia's Church, 50 Ridge St. Winchester. Her burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
