Richard Edward Bedine, Esq. loving husband of Jeanne Schwalbach, extraordinary father of their sons Marc and Zachary; devoted brother of Marshall Bedine and Barbara Menachem Furman; unique uncle to multiple nieces and nephews, died on March 8, 2015. Richard's legacy is a deep, enthusiastic and life long dedication to his family. Richard chose to dedicate his life to social services and was the Executive Director of Solutions for Living for 40 years. He was an inspiration and mentor to many and had a tremendous impact on every life that he touched.. Richard was remarkably generous and humble. His candid humor always entertained and his warmth and caring captured the hearts of so many. Richard took great joy in life and never let his diagnosis interfere with living life to the fullest and insisted we do the same. He was a model of strength to his two sons and everyone else around him. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on March 22nd at 3:00 pm on the campus of Hebrew College, 160 Herrick Rd. Newton Center.
