Barbara was born in Tewksbury on April 26, 1965 to Mary (Penney) Deal and the late Ted Deal.
She was affectionately known as “B” to her family and friends. She was proficient in Sign Language.
Barbara is survived by her mother Mary (Deal) Coady, her brothers Stephen Deal, Michael Deal and John Deal, her sister , Laurie Murray, her daughter, Ashley Newman, her son, Artie Newman and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara's wonderful spirit, joy and talents will be celebrated at a 10am Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville on Saturday, March 21, 2015
Relatives and friends gratefully invited.
Interment will be private.
