In Taunton, March 4, 2015 Gertrude (O’Neill) Cornaglia daughter of the late Thomas and Jennie E. (Rossiter) O’Neill died at Taunton Nursing Home at the age of 92. Born in Taunton and educated at Taunton High School class of 1940, Gert was the wife of Alfred M. Cornaglia. She was retired from the City of Taunton working for the Department of Human Service, Taunton Board of Health and the Taunton Water Department. She was a former member of the Red Hats, Queens Daughter’s, Weir Seniors and the Weir Grammar School Group. Gertrude was the mother of Frederic Cornaglia and his wife Anne Marie of Taunton, David F. Cornaglia of Taunton, Jeffrey Cornaglia and his wife Dianne of Berkley and the late Eileen Marie Baptiste. Grandmother of Brian, Lisa, Heidi, Jason, Traci, Justin, Lori, Ryan and Joshua. Great Grandmother of five. Sister of the late Kathryn Donovan, Thomas J. O’Neill, Jane Rose, Joseph and Frances O’Neill. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton on Friday, March 13th at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
