Ilene (Rodrigues) Gomes, age 83 0f Fall River, passed away on March 5, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Everett Gomes and the daughter of the late Manuel and Olivia (Motta) Rodrigues. Prior to retiring, Ilene worked for Shelburne Shirt Co. as a folder, then retired as a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Fall River.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her Daughter: Judith Williams, her wife Carmen of Swansea; 1Brothers: James Rodrigues of Somerset; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Nephews. Ilene was the Mother of the late Claudia De Cambra and the Sister of the late Robert Rodrigues
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on TUESDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Bedford St. at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
