Sarah Frattura passed away peacefully at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 90.

Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria (DelMonico) D'Amico. A Medford resident for nearly 70 years, Sarah was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family and friends. For many years she assisted her son in the operation of his business, Hoff’s Bakery in Medford. In her younger years she was an active part of Saint Clement Parish.


The beloved wife of the late Isaia “Izzy” Frattura with whom she shared 66 years of marriage until his passing in 2012. She was a devoted mother to Michael and his wife Margaret of Woburn, Ronald and his wife Cynthia of Beverly, Vinny and his wife Donna of Medford and Mariann of Medford. She leaves her loving grandchildren: Michael, Sarah, Elizabeth, Justin, David, Nicole, Eric and Nicole as well as her loving great-grandchildren, Madeline, Michael, TJ, Jack and Angelina.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday March 7th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 PM.
