Boston – Jeffrey Correia, age 40 of New Bedford, passed away, unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Beth Israel Hospital. He was the loving son of Maria (Cunha) Correia and the late Leonard V. Correia.
Jeffrey was a lifelong resident of this area and worked as a Correctional Officer and Licensed Masseuse Therapist.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Correia of Dartmouth; his wife, Monica M. Lima of New Bedford, a daughter Brianna R. Correia; his siblings, sister Deborah Pavao and her husband Manuel of Dartmouth, his brother Chris M. Correia of New Bedford; his godsons, Matthew C. Pavao, Michael J. Pavao; his in laws, Lubelia aand Antonio Lima of New Bedford, his brother in law Brian Lima.
Jeffrey will be cremated. A Funeral Mass with his cremated remains present will take place on Friday, March 13 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Those who would like to attend are invited to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
