Francis S. Rego, age 89, passed away on March 2nd 2015 peacefully at home. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Jose and Maria (Rego) Rego. Francis was a veteran of the United States Army, served during WWII and was presented the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Emblem, European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon with one Silver Service Star, Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster and a WWII Victory Medal. Prior to retirement he worked as an Optician making eyeglasses for many years.
Francis leaves behind his loyal friends Theresa and Barry Hathaway of Fall River.
