Obituary

Amy C. (MacLachlan) Cutler 91, of Natick died peacefully Saturday, February 28, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis X. Cutler Sr., Boston Firefighter, who died in 2002.
A Natick resident for 19 years, she was born in Newton and was the daughter of the late William and Anna (MacDonald) MacLachlan.
Mrs. Cutler had resided in Newton Highlands, and previously in Brighton maintaining strong family ties in the area and was regarded as the Matriarch of the extended family.
She was known for her astute shopping abilities and refined sense of style and dress.
Mrs. Cutler was an active member of the Natick Senior Center, loved to read, and painted in watercolors. She enjoyed many years of vacationing with her family and sharing new adventures.
She is survived by three children Francis X. "Lucky” Cutler, Jr. and his wife Maureen A. (King) of Framingham, Amy C. Magee and her husband Jeffrey of Framingham, Susan C. Hotz and her husband William J. of Natick, sisters Joan Meakin and her late husband Ralph of Maynard, Mary Jane Sutherland and her husband Robert of Natick, one brother William MacLachlan and his wife Helen of West Dennis, she was the sister of the late Barbara Farnham and her late husband Ralph. Also survived by her grandchildren Michelle Rosala and her husband John, Matthew Cutler and his wife Corrine, Amber Prockett and her husband Paul, Elizabeth Magee, Jeffrey Magee, Jr. and his wife Robyn, Lindsy Hotz and William “B.J.” Hotz Jr., great grandchildren Taylor, Jason, Ashley and Lucy, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, March 6th at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Linus Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment Edgell Grove Cemetery Framingham.
