Augusta, GA – Drue Ward Bradley, Sr., 79, entered into rest on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel at 7:00 PM.
Drue was a proud Veteran of the US Marine Corps. He loved to read and loved life. He never met a stranger and was an avid practical joker. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents Allie Drue Bradley, Sr. and Louise Bradley; his wife, Mary Frances Bradley, and one sister, Arnet Gibson.
Survivors include three sons, Scott W. Bradley of Chattanooga, TN, Drue Ward Bradley, II of Augusta, GA, Allie Drue Bradley, III of Augusta, GA; one daughter, Gayla Bradley of Oakland, CA; a loving companion Pamela W. Willis of Martinez, GA; one sister, Marjory Bradley Little of Augusta; several grandchildren; one aunt, Doris M. Ward of Augusta; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 6:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
