New Bedford – Linda Lee Housewright, age 70, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Orono, Maine, she was the loving daughter of Gloria (Ketchum) and Irvin Lantange.
Linda dedicated herself to the upbringing of her family.
Her family includes 8 children: Timothy Lantange of New Bedford, Jon Desjardins of Clinton, Tennessee, Hazel St. Don of New Bedford, Bonnie Roldan, Bernice Arruda of Boston, Lisa Oulette of Old Towne, Maine, the late Gloria Housewright and the late Rosemary Housewright; siblings: Louise Nadeau of Old Towne, Maine, Frances Cyr of Greenbush, Maine, June Stetson of Bath, Maine, the late Nancy Woods and the late Irvin Lantange; as well as 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be visitation in the funeral home on Thursday, March 5 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. with a service to begin at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations to the family will be greatly appreciated. Arrangements are placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
