Michael J. Settemio passed away suddenly on February 26, 2015 at the young age of 19.
Michael was a recent graduate of the Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield. He loved music and attended numerous music festivals including the Wormtown and Strangecreek festivals. Michael played the guitar and was an excellent graphic artist who designed pins for many festivals. He also worked at the Whole Foods Bakery in Medford. Michael was a kind and gentle soul who loved music, friends and family!
Michael was the loving son of William Settemio and Jayne Fiore and stepson of Michele Settemio and Wayne Fiore. He was the cherished grandson of Beverly Settemio and the late Dominic Settemio and Carolyn Labadini and her late husband John. Michael was the devoted brother of John Settemio of Middleton and siblings Aviana and Dustin Fiore of New Hampshire and Amanda and Jaclyn Spayne of Malden. He was the loving nephew of Dominic Settemio and Robert Labadini and cousin of Nicholas Settemio. Michael also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, relatives and numerous friends from high school.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, March 4th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3rd from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
