Elizabeth T. (Lento) Tiso passed away peacefully at home in the company of her family. She was 80. Born and raised in Boston’s North End she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Anna Carmela (D'Ambrosio) Lento. A resident of the North End until moving to Quincy several years ago, Elizabeth worked as a seamstress and made sample dresses for New York design houses before working with Forecaster of Boston for many years. A devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a good friend to many.

The beloved wife of Frank Tiso, she also leaves her daughter Lana Soricelli of Quincy and her two loving grandchildren, Deanna and Joseph Soricelli. The sister of Joseph P. Lento and Angela Forte, she also leaves many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 3, at St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston’s North End at 9:45 AM with The Reverend Claude Scrima, ofm, presiding. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Calling hours will be Monday, March 2 from 4 - 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford and procession will gather at 8:45 AM on Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
