Janice H. Cole
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, February 24, 2015, Mrs. Janice H. Cole, 74, wife of the late Mr. Joseph E. Cole, Sr.
Mrs. Cole was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She worked as a dietician at University Hospital. Mrs. Cole was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved her family and church family. Mrs. Cole was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Family members include daughters: Debbie Hardin (Lenny Starke), Donna Powell (Bobby), Cheryl Shields (David), and Teresa Adkins (Tony); 8 grand-daughters, 6 grandsons and 19 great-grandchildren and special friend: Barbara Souza. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her daughter: Janice A. Huffman and son: Joseph E. Cole, Jr. (Nina).
A funeral service will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Joe Woods officiating. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joseph French, Jason Capps, Christopher Powell, Anthony Strelec, Joseph Cole III, David Shields and Tony Adkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2050 Walton Way, Suite 208, Augusta, GA 30904.
