Frank P. Bregani, 97, of Methuen, formally a 60 year resident of Watertown, passed away Sunday February 22nd at the Holy Family Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Dorchester son of the late Rachele (Piscia) and Lodovico Bregani. Frank served his country in the United States Army during WWII and later worked for Environmental Interiors for 33 years prior to retirement where he was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 67 for 55 years. He was a Boy Scouts Leader and was a member of the Sons of Italy, St Theresa’s Holy Name Society, VFW Post 1105 in Watertown and enjoyed playing cards, interest in bonsai trees, shooting pool, bird watching, playing the organ and accordion.
Frank is predeceased by his wife of 43 years Stephenie (Piraino) Bregani and is survived by his children Joanne Billings and her husband Raymond of Methuen, Rita Ralph of Andover, Thomas Bregani and his wife Kristen of Greenfield NH, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Besides his wife and parents, Frank is predeceased by a brother Aldo C. Bregani and a son in law James Ralph.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday February 26th from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with a funeral service at 12 Noon immediately following calling hours. A graveside service will take place on Friday February 27th at 11 AM at the Belmont Cemetery in Belmont.
