William “Danal” Dowdy, Jr., of Fitzgerald, infant son of Lynze Wright and William Danal Dowdy, Sr., died, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia Navicent Health.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Waterloo Cemetery in Irwin County, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 1:40 PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald before the service.
Infant Danal Dowdy was born Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Ocilla.
In addition to his parents, Danal is survived by two sisters, Layne Wright and Kourtlyn Dowdy: one brother, Jared Wright all of Fitzgerald; his maternal grandfather, Tommy Wright of Fitzgerald and maternal grandmother Sue Wright of Fitzgerald, paternal grandparents, Terri Dowdy of Fitzgerald and the late William “Buddy” Otis Dowdy; Several uncles, aunts and many cousins also survive.
