Winchell, Vernon Lee, JR. 79, of Louisville passed away Saturday February 21, 2015.
Vernon was a native of Hardin Co., KY. A retired heavy equipment operator & a member of Local # 181.
He is preceded in death by his three sons, Darren, Kent & Wayne Winchell.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Janice (Payne) Winchell; a son, Chad Winchell (Dawn); a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Winchell; a brother, Hobert Winchell; four grandchildren & three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in the Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday.
