Laconia ----- Janva S. Yeaton, 68, of Baldwin Street, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Janva was born January 16, 1947 in Laconia, the daughter of Oric F. and Doris L. (Skinner) Priest. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia.
Janva worked at Laconia Shoe for many years. She ran many Flee Markets for the Tilton-Northfield Fraternal Association & Order Of The Eastern Star & Doric-Centre Lodge #20 of Tilton. Janva was also a member of the Tilton-Northfield RED Company. She was also a former member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton. Janva loved animals and had many pets.
Janva is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Berton "Bert" G. Yeaton III; a son, Robert E. Smith Sr. of Manchester, four daughters; Terri Hart of Bristol, Moneka Soboleski of Laconia, Dianna Colby of Northfield and Darlene Lepelley of Laconia; three step-sons, Arthur Smith of Rye, Joseph Smith of Australia, and Shawn Smith of Rhode Island; a step-daughter, Michelle Smith of Florida, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia N.H., using the Carriage House entrance.
A Graveside service will be held at a later date.
