D’Orlando, Theodore S. “Ted” of Needham, February 15, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte M. (Pezzetti) D’Orlando. Devoted father of David C. D’Orlando and his wife Kay J. of Wayland and Diane D’Orlando Dacey and her husband Robert of Sudbury. Grandfather of Charles and Alice D’Orlando, Kristin and Matthew Dacey. Brother of Edith McLaughlin of California, predeceased by 3 sisters and 6 brothers. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Ted was a retired Insurance Agent, graduate of Northeastern University where he received his bachelor and masters degree in business. Former owner of Baldwin Welsh & Parker Insurance Agency. Ted was a loving father and grandfather and devoted to his family and church.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham, Friday February 27 from 4-7pm. Memorial service in the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Highland Ave. Needham, Saturday Feb. 28 at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Ted’s memory to the Carter Memorial United Methodist Church.
