Obituary

WEBSTER – Richard A. Perkins, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Worcester Rehab & Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.
He leaves a sister, Pauline A. Perkins and a niece Paula, both of Webster; and cousins.
He was born in Webster, the son of Stanley and Alice L. (Martel) Perkins Morin and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Saint Louis High School in 1946.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He studied at the Personnel Administrative School in Fort Bragg, NC for a year.
Mr. Perkins first worked as a beautician in Worcester, Southbridge and Auburn. He then was employed by Cranston Print Works Company for 17 years. He was the billing manager for R. H. White Construction Co. in Auburn for 25 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Saint Louis Church. He enjoyed oil and acrylic painting and took special pride in his extensive flower garden.
A memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, April 6 at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to St. Louis School Endowment Fund, 15 Lake St., Webster, MA 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
