Adelard J. “Moe” Millette, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
His wife of over 50 years, Lois Anne (Bair) Millette died January 8, 2008, he was also predeceased by a son, Scott Bryan Millette who died December 27, 2006.
He leaves behind 2 daughters, Bonnie Sue Meagher and Heidi Anne Kuszewski and her husband Ronald C. Kuszewski all of Webster and 2 grand-daughters, Shana Lynne Meagher and Kallie Rae Meagher and 2 sisters, Doris Mrazik and Eunice Bastek.
He was predeceased by a brother Harold Radziewicz and 2 sisters, Betty Hade and Lorraine Streich.
Moe was born in Webster a son of the late Adelard and Lydia (Meyer) Millette and has lived here all his life.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War earning three battle stars and the combat infantryman badge. He served with distinction with the 15th Infantry in Korea from March 27, 1952 to December 31, 1953 and held the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He worked for the former Cranston Print Works Company for 43 years as a colorist, Supervisor and Fire Chief of the Cranston Print Works Fire Department and retired February 28, 1993.
Moe was President of the Thompson Rod and Gun Club and a member of American Legion Post #184.
He enjoyed fishing, the casino and was very well known as a drummer for many area bands.
At Moe’s Request, there are No Calling Hours, a Graveside Service with Military Honors by the Webster-Dudley Veterans’ Council will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date.
